Last week has seen a significant drop in the number of soup kitchen meals served in some of the areas – a normal phenomenon at the beginning of the month, as the following post from Leigh (the IC for New Horizon) confirms. He writes:

“The amount was remarkably less, because most of the unemployed in the community and the elderly had their grants and pension pay-outs this past week. In other words less people reported to the soup kitchens.”
