From Jill Mouat: 7 months ago , we started helping to alliaviate food shortages to our Green Valley Community. We went from putting together a family 1 week food hamper to providing ( with the help of many donors and the group of Plett Volunenteers ) 6 existing Soup Kitchen ladies ( my Angels ) who upped their game and at 1 stage we were providing approx 3500 meals a week. Today we celebrated this journey together with deserved spoilings of pretty girly hampers and cup cakes and Honeybush Tea. I have been privileged to meet and assist these wonderful ladies who sacrificed their family life to provide a plate of food to those in need. ... See MoreSee Less

From Jill Mouat: Thanks to 5 of my original 8 Soup Kitchen Angels who worked tirelessly for their Green Valley Community for the past 7 months. These Angels have always given their time and money to provide meals but in this time of need and with the additional donations from our anonymous donors upped their game and were at 1 point producing in the region of 2500 to 3000 meals a week. Today was time for spoilings, thanks Angels. ... See MoreSee Less

On Robberg Beach this morning.. about 500m from the hotel, these tiny plastic bits picked up. The high tide mark is lined with millions of them... and it stretched as far as one can see.
PLEASE if you go for a walk on the beach today or tomorrow, take a bag and spend some time picking up all this terrible plastic xxx
THaNK YOU 🙏🏻🌊🙏🏻🌊🙏🏻
